Police are still searching for the suspect of an assault that occurred in Parkmerced Wednesday night.
A woman was walking down the 700 block of Gonzalez Drive when she heard footsteps behind her, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
As soon as the woman turned around, she felt an arm on her neck and screamed. The victim’s shout startled the suspect who then fled the scene. The victim never saw the suspect’s face.
No arrests have been made.
